EXPERIENCE THE REAL ALASKA ALL STARTING IN BEAUTIFUL CORDOVA Upon Arriving Cordova is about 25 minute jet flight from Anchorage. You will be picked up on arrival into Cordova and a Cordova Rose Lodge dinner will be served as arranged and the evening is yours to relax around the Lodge or get acquainted with town, just a few blocks away. Day One When your are ready, a full hot breakfast will greet you in the morning to get you fueled up and ready for the adventures ahead. Our guide and Chipper our trail dog will be ready to take you on a one half day hike. Your choice of several well maintained trails. Hike through beautiful tundra, mountain meadows, rain forests and coastal trails. All our guides are local Naturalist and wildlife conservationist. The hike is narrated as you go along to give you the gift of local knowledge about the beautiful and diverse areas surrounding Cordova. You can have lunch on the trail or back at the Lodge before heading to your next adventure. From the Lodge we will take you on a short drive to Lake Eyak where everyone will board the famous Dehavalin Beaver float plane. We will take off from there for a breath taking one hour flight trip of the remote wilderness area that surrounds Cordova, Mountains, Glaciers, Rain Forests and Prince William Sound. The afternoon is yours. Dinner is as arranged. Day Two Good Morning, after breakfast we will get everyone geared up for a Glacier Hopping and scenic short hikes out in the Beautiful Copper River Delta. We will visit (3) three glaciers; take a raft trip down Sheridan River where your guide will first paddle you around the icebergs on Sheridan Lake before you start your trip down the river to the Copper River Highway. At the end of your rafting trip, your hostess for the trip will be waiting for you with Smoked Salmon, other Alaskan snacks and refreshments. Your guide will then pick you up and you will continue your trip out the Copper River Highway to the Magnificent Childs Glacier, the Million Dollar Bridge and Miles Glacier. This guided and narrated trip will take you through the heart of the Copper Delta. Sightings of Moose, Black and Brown Bear is possible along the way, with all types of wildlife that lives in the Delta. The Delta also has the largest concentration of beavers in the world and home of the Beautiful Trumpeter Swans. Across the Copper River you can view up close the Breathtaking Child's Glacier, where apartment size chunks of blue ice will cave off and fall into the river below. Child's Glacier marks the end of the highway at the Million Dollar Bridge (this bridge is now being restored as a Historical Sight). Back at the Lodge Dinner will be served. Day Three and Day Four Good Morning, after breakfast we will head down to the Cordova Boat Harbor and step aboard the 60ft Motor Yacht; SAN TOI, for an unforgettable two days...day 3 on the waters of Prince William Sound, overnight accommodations on board and day 4 on Prince William Sound, arriving back into Cordova late afternoon. This is a Private Charter for your group. Fish for Halibut day and night, or Salmon, Shark, Rockfish and several other varieties. Enjoy sea kayaking, boat into scenic islands and the mainland of Prince William Sound. This adventure trip has something for everyone, great Wildlife viewing, Humpback and Orca Whales, Sea Otters, Porpoises, Sea Lions, Seals, a chance to see Black and Brown Bears on the beaches and all types of marine life and waterfowl. Sleeps 6 includes all meals, snacks, guides, all fishing gear, small boat and Zodiac for exploring. Our Captain has over 30 years of experience on the Pristine Waters of Prince William Sound. You will arrive back into Cordova in the evening of the second day. Day 5 Today is your day in Cordova to visit local shops, sightsee or visit more of the local area. Your van will be ready for you after breakfast to use as you wish. You may eat lunch at the Lighthouse Café or we can pack a lunch for you, for more adventures out the Copper River Highway, which ever you choose. Dinner will be served as arranged, with your choice of local fresh seafood or just down home cooking, with our homemade desserts. Day 6 Good Morning, one more great breakfast of your choice before heading back home. We will have your fish boxed and ready to take back home along with all those great memories. This All Exclusive Trip is based on (6) six persons minimum or (4) persons can be arranged. Total Price $2595.00 per person including tax, with a 50% deposit and balance 60 days before arriving.
