Cordova is a hidden treasure for the sport fisherman with the unbelievable catches of silver salmon. (coho) each year the silvers invade Cordova's local waters with the best fishing anywhere. Largest Silver weighed at the lodge was 24 pounds, with 12 to 15 pounds common. The 2008 Silver run has been predicted to be a repeat of the large Silver run that we had in 2002. DAY 1 Good morning! Breakfast
will be ready at at a time your group decides. Just sign up
on our breakfast board the night before. Coffee will be
ready one hour before breakfast. After breakfast your group
will start a full day of fishing out Copper River Hwy in the
Copper River Delta. You will fish the areas that have been
producing the best fish, but will move around as necessary
to find fish. We will make sure you are in the best areas to
catch fish and provide transportation to the best areas.
Good morning, after that great breakfast our guide will take everyone for a short ride to the Eyak river, where our riverboat will be waiting to head down river. We work different areas, sand bars, wade the river or fish from the boat. We will make sure everyone is catching fish. The river produced some of the largest Silvers of the 2005 season. Evening meal as set up, we cannot serve beer or wine, but you can buy and serve yourself. DAY 3 Good morning! Today your
group and our driver will head out in the Delta again. The
Delta is a maze of small and large streams and beaver ponds
that hold the silvers making their way to their spawning
area. DAY 4 Good morning we have another great day of fishing set up, down the Eyak river. We will fish our favorite spots and take a trip down river to view more of the river and fish some new spots. Lunch and snacks provided. Dinner at the Lodge and the afternoon to do as you wish. DAY 5 Good morning! Breakfast of your choice this morning. Today is your day. You are free to do as you wish. Your have your van for whatever trip you wish to take. We have all the local information for you on things to see and do. You may want to take a trip out to the end of the Copper River Hwy to Childs Glacier, world famous for its beauty and apartment size ice chunks falling hundreds of feet below into the icy Copper River. There is sight seeing in town or hiking some of our beautiful trails and of course.....more great fishing! Dinner meal your choice. Our 5 Day Salmon Bonanza

There
is always a new spot to try or go back to the ones that you
have already learned about. The Copper River is 700,000
acres of wet lands with the largest population of beaver in
the world - doing what beavers do best, making more ponds
for more fish and wild life to live and spawn in . After a
day of fish catching, we will head back to the lodge, take
care of the fish and relax a bit before dinner with a little
refreshment.
